In the last week, our campaign has spoken at 15 of the Maine Presidential Caucuses and received a great response!

In one case, energized Caucus goers formed a line 20 minutes long to sign our ballot access petition.

I wish we had taken a photo of this, but Senator Olympia Snowe’s petition line was empty!

Politico.com has just reported that Olympia Snowe, the most liberal Republican in the US Senate, has been benefiting financially from the defrauding of the U.S. government by her husband's company.  Snowe reported on her most recent disclosure form that the amount of money received from this fraud is anywhere from $6 to $30 million dollars.

A recent rating of the members of the U.S. Senate confirmed that Sen. Olympia Snowe is more likely to vote with liberals like Barack Obama and Harry Reid than her own party.  According to the American Conservative Union Rating, Senator Snowe is the “Most Liberal Senator”, voting a mere 48% of the time for conservative causes during her 33 years in the Senate.

Hard work and great employees have helped me grow my small business in Lisbon Falls. Maine is a great state to live and raise a family, and as a proud parent, I’ve spent years volunteering with our local youth baseball league, the Boy Scouts of America, and with my church.

So why would I want to run for the US Senate?

While I’d rather focus on my company and spend weekends with my family, I understand that Mainers lack a legislator with the backbone to stop President Obama.

As I noticed politicians in Maine becoming increasingly more committed to expanding government, I ran for U.S. Congress. While it was an uphill battle, I was proud to give voters a choice between a Democrat career politician and a fiscally conservative business owner.

But Republican Senator Olympia Snowe has consistently voted for bigger government and massive Federal deficits too.
