D’Amboise for U.S. Senate 2012

Freedom is the most important of human possessions, and I think that we may be in danger of losing ours. If elected, I shall do everything in my power to restore and protect freedom, for the people of Maine and for our great nation.

About Scott

Family Man, Patriot and Small Business Owner…

Scott D’Amboise grew up in Carmel, Maine and is a graduate of Hermon High School and attended the University of Maine. He currently resides in Lisbon Falls with his wife Debbie and together they are the proud parents of two wonderful children.

Scott has served as a Town Selectman and in that role he advocated strongly for “live within your means” tax reforms intended to lift tax burdens off of Maine families and business owners. Focusing on government waste, Scott helped save the town of Lisbon over $2 million.

He is most proud of his time spent assisting small businesses during their early stages. In one case involving a local citizen attempting to start a business, Scott was instrumental in guiding the prospective business through the burdensome regulatory process and even forced a town vote to allow the business to proceed. Scott’s persistence allowed the business to open and become a thriving shop today.

Scott is a strong advocate for community service and has been involved with his church, Little League Baseball, and has worked with the Boy Scouts of America for the last twenty years.

He currently works in the health care field as an ophthalmic technician and owns and operates his own small business.

Like so many Mainers, Scott understands how difficult it can be to raise a family in Maine because of the current tax burdens and the state’s poor fiscal situation, and he is driven to make a difference for his family’s future as well as yours. Scott understands the meaning of We The People and is dedicated toward returning our government to one that functions within its proper role.
